Project Description
For our long-standing client, a European leader in home appliance manufacturing, we are looking for a Candidate for the position of: Data Engineer with knowledge of the Databricks platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Databricks Platform: Proficient in using Azure Databricks services (clusters, notebooks, data pipelines, Delta Lake, etc.). Minimum 3+ years of experience with Azure Databricks in enterprise environments.
- Data acquisition and transformation: Experience in data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and ensuring data quality using tools such as dbt.
- ETL Development: Ability to create and implement ETL processes using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Practical experience in orchestrating large data flows.
- Platform deployment and monitoring: Experience in deploying and monitoring Databricks-based platforms in Azure, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor.
- Data pipelines: Experience in building and managing data pipelines in Azure Databricks.
- Infrastructure as Code: Advanced knowledge of Terraform, including experience in creating reusable modules.
- Programming languages and frameworks: Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark. Good understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Data quality and governance: A solid understanding of data quality frameworks and data governance standards.
- Version Control and CI/CD: Experience working with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with Azure infrastructure components relevant to Databricks deployments.
