Project: Oracle HCM Cloud – Senior Business Analyst

For a HCM stabilisation initiative, we are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Senior Business Analyst. The role focuses on business analysis, configuration, documentation, and structured testing to support the optimisation and long-term maintainability of the Oracle HCM Cloud platform.

Project Overview
Our client is undergoing a stabilisation and improvement phase of their Oracle HCM Cloud solution. You will analyse complex functional issues, support configuration changes, manage defects, and ensure that all enhancements are well documented, tested, and aligned with business requirements.

Duration: 210 days (23/03/2026 – 10/02/2027) + extensions
Wage: up to 480 EUR net/day

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Investigating complex issues within Oracle Cloud HCM functionality or integrations and proposing effective solutions or workarounds.
  • Producing clear, complete, and traceable business and functional documentation to support proper configuration and long-term maintainability.
  • Performing Fit–Gap analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across Oracle HCM processes.
  • Executing configuration changes in Oracle Cloud HCM, ensuring alignment with validated business needs.
  • Managing defects: raising issues, tracking progress, validating fixes, and documenting results with Oracle Support or internal IT.
  • Delivering high‑quality system configurations that align with approved requirements and are validated through structured testing.
  • Supporting solution design, validation, and user adoption throughout the stabilisation project.

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Proven experience in business analysis and testing, ideally within HCM environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a functional consultant for Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Solid functional expertise in:
    • Core HR: assignments, workforce structures, position synchronization
    • Self-service / Guided Journeys
    • Workflows
    • Base compensation, salary basis
    • Base compensation, salary basis
    • Progression grade ladders and grade rates
  • Oracle HCM Security: Areas of Responsibility, Data Roles, auditing.
  • Data activities: data analysis, migrations, mass uploads (HDL, Spreadsheet Loader).
  • Experience with integrations between Oracle HCM and other systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

 

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge or previous experience with PeopleSoft HCM as an implementer or functional system administrator.
