With the growth of digital transformation projects and an increasing number of initiatives for clients in various industries, there was a need to strengthen the Project Management Office team. A key objective was to recruit an individual who would combine project management and business analysis competencies to support the organization both operationally and strategically.

Purpose of the Project

Recruitment was internal and led directly by the Head of Project Excellence (PMO/COO), ensuring that the process was consistent with the real needs of the team and the PMO's long-term development vision.

The recruitment challenge

We were looking for a person who:

Can lead end-to-end projects - from planning to implementation,

understands business needs and effectively translates them into requirements for IT teams,

finds himself working with clients in the digital transformation stage,

Combines hard skills with a mature partnership attitude and high communication skills

An additional challenge was to find a person who would fit well into the PMO culture and be willing to grow with the organization.

Project Stages

Customer needs analysis

Database and labor market verification

Presentation and selection of a suitable candidate

Negotiate terms of employment with the candidate

 

Project Implementation

The recruitment process was planned and carried out in a comprehensive manner:

Direct search and direct contact with selected candidates,

Profile selection and analysis,

Comparison of competencies, experience and development potential,

discussions conducted from the perspective of real project challenges,

The entire process was conducted in close cooperation with the future supervisor, which made it possible to quickly verify the substantive and organizational fit.
